My friend Amanda Smoot just hooked us onto a new blog - "Why Mormon Girls Stay Single" http://www.whymormongirlsstaysingle.com/. It's kind of a mix between "He's Just Not That Into You" and a self-depricating, judgemental take on dating life (toned down from Sex and the City for an LDS audience). Interesting. Cynically Humerous. Honest.
I loved the take on texting... "a texting relationship is not a real relationship!" Back in the day, I refused to text anything beyond five word updates.
I did not like the entry on return sister missionaries (surprise). I get the stereotype, but I thought we had progressed beyond that. Clearly, we did not all go on missions because "we had nothing better to do."
Anyway, it's interesting.
